Hello and welcome to Barefoot Holistic Therapies. My name is Heather and I am a complementary therapist offering specialist women’s health reflexology. As a former midwife I have a wealth of experience and knowledge surrounding conception, pregnancy and birth. I am passionate about supporting couples on their fertility and pregnancy journey and have taken further training as a reflexologist to specialise in these areas.
Reflexology can provide the relaxation needed to help return the body to it’s natural balance ready for parenthood. Specialist reproductive reflexology may help couples with fertility problems by balancing the hormone production necessary for conception to occur and promoting good strong health and vitality in the reproductive organs, which includes helping to regulate periods, promote ovulation, reduce PMS and also help increase sperm quality and quantity. With the stress associated with trying to conceive, reproflexology can be very supportive during this time. Furthermore we have strong evidence to support its effectiveness.
I am fully trained to offer Reflexology alongside IVF drugs and in the early stages of pregnancy.
